"Only 100 meters from the pier, where the boat drops you. Very quiet. Very clean. All rooms overlook the sea. You are literally 10 meters from the sea. Walk the 100 meters back to the pier and you are in the area with bars and restaurants. Lovely staff, willing to help with anything. Each room has a seating area outside with a hammock. So relaxing. Good breakfast too, which was not included in my package, but cheap enough. Would recommend Sunrise Villas & would definately stay again."

"Off the main street which makes the place very quiet. 5 min walk from the pier and to the beach. Lots of cafes and convenience stores round. The property looks much better in the photos - nowadays it's rather outdated with very shabby walls, a loud air-conditioner and a bit hard mattress. Though, the room itself is spacious. There are towels, bath products and a kettle with some coffee being provided. Overall good value for money. "

"Rather clean hotel with good breakfast area. There are no actual place for your things in the rooms of main building: four hooks only and one shelf, you have to keep all you belongings in you bags on the floor. Mind, "inroom safe" means there are only one safe and it is in the private room of the only reception girl!!! By the way, she is quite often not at her place and you should walk about the territory to find her!!!"

"Property is being updated, new roofs and paint on bungalows. Overall beautiful property and ocean views. Property also shares the beach area and pool of the sai keaw property next door. Only 300baht a day for moped. Go to the other end of Kho Samed for beautiful sunrise and sets."

"Property appears to be a little out of the way and far from town, but it is a walkable distance, there’s taxi trucks and motorbikes for rent at reasonable prices. So it really isn’t that far at all. It’s only a few minutes by scooter of taxi truck, maybe 20 minutes if walking, but can scroll up the beaches and over a few outcroppings of rocks and can get nearly anywhere on the island. There’s several other properties nearby with interesting bars and beaches to explore. I like the color scheme of...

"What a view! We chose a seaside cottage and it was just steps from the water. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Easy walking to about 20 others? Lots of sun or shade options for laying out. Nice size rooms. We like beds softer and that was the only reason to downgrade the comfort level from excellent. Pillows good. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will book here again. "

Very pleasant long stay - excellent staff

"Excellent 8 day stay in a premier hillside room. Staff superb throughout. Breakfast selection was extensive and very tasty as was food in the Italian and Buzz beach bar. Ate at the other resort restaurant and the Thai food was very good. Very high standard of housekeeping and we never had to ask for anything was replaced each day. Great to have the Nespresso machine. Beach loungers and tables could do with a bit of maintenance but were comfortable. The beach guys always ensured non residents were quickly evicted if they attempted to bag a lounger! Very eagle eyed. Plenty of security cameras so beach felt very safe to leave stuff whilst swimming."
