"Maria has been amazing, the hotel is nice and clean, but she is the star of the whole place. She made us feel welcome and she has been helpful at all times with restaurants recommendations and tips on what to do around the island. If we could we would have given her 20 stars. Our vacation has been fabulous and we had an unexpected room upgrade on our last days which has been nice too . Highly recommended "

"Our stay was excellent. We had the best time at Spiros. Mr and Mrs Antonio were super helpful. We felt like staying with our own family. Very friendly. Everything was great in the apartment. Safe place and just two minutes walk to Laganas. Very clean and tidy place. Comfortable beds and nice hot shower. Small kitchennete with everything provided. Internet was super fast. Will definitely visit again."

"We paid for 2 studios/apartments but on arrival they would only allow us to have the 1. They also charged us €40 for having a friend around to the room on 2 occasions. One bed had a dip in it and our room wasn’t cleaned for the whole duration of our stay. There was no hot water in the shower and the fridge was also broken. We were only allowed 1 room key which meant we couldn’t use the air con unless we were in the room. We also got woken up twice at 8am every day by the owners.. disappointed to...

"Honestly this place is a no go, I’m being completely honest there was 9 of us. 8 at majestic hotel and I had to book here as I wasn’t sure whether or not I was going to zante a couple months back but eventually did. So I saw this place and booked it for the week. "This was unfortunate, we were unhappy. It may be nicer during the “season” but we were so disappointed we checked out shortly after arrival and booked a new hotel. Our “partial sea view” room had 1 window that looked out at a cement wall and there was no sea in sight… secondly, the entire “lobby” was under construction and the property seemed surprised at our arrival. Also the hot tub was freezing cold. The hot tub was really nice and new, just not hot. They offered to love us to an upstairs...

"The location was amazing. Easy and safe to walk anywhere? Breakfast was good but wished at least 1 item of food is changed each day as we stayed 3 nights to experienced our daily breakfast. Will stay again in this hotel if we visit Zakynthos."

"The breakfast spread is a beautiful sight, with every nut, grain, and dried fruit neatly stored in glass jars. The table is set with speckled plates and fine china, adding a touch of elegance. The rattan and wooden furniture, in warm beige, brown, and stone tones, create a cozy and natural atmosphere. The vines draping over the balcony bring a lush, botanical feel that adds to the charm of the space. The staff are incredible. The staff here are genuinely friendly, always smiling, and approachable. I've met such simple, yet happy and beautiful souls—an experience that has been truly eye-opening. I came here seeking solitude, and I've found the perfect space to unwind and recharge. The scenery is breathtaking; the beach is a serene retreat with its fresh, calming atmosphere. I could easily spend the entire day there, listening to the rhythmic crash of waves against the shore, just me, my book, and the gentle hum of people laughing, swimming, and chatting with loved ones. I’m not ready to leave yet, but I know I’ll be back again."

"Staff were extremely helpful, grounds were beautiful. Lots of cats and little pups around (not sure if strays or if the hotel was caring for them) but all very friendly and loved feeding them. Rooms spacious and clean. "

"The Marelen was perfect for us, the breakfast had many options, the pool bar was top notch service, its location is perfectly between the beach and main road for shops etc. We were visiting for a few days for a wedding so staying in different hotels and multiple people mentioned how they really liked our hotel compared to others in the area - we are hoping to be back for a proper holiday next year!"

"We had the Deluxe Room with Panoramic View and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was modern, clean, private and had a beautiful view. It was up three storeys (no elevator) but we didn’t mind, however worth noting if that’s a concern for you. The pool area is relaxing and clean. The hotel is back from the main road in Argassi so while it’s close to everything you need, it’s also private and quiet."
