"Hotel as described. 10 minutes walk into Grasmere. Free parking, although I doubt enough if hotel at capacity. Bus stop outside. Breakfast was nice & plenty of options. We had dinner one evening and it was good & good value. Dog friendly, in fact Luna felt bery welcome! We decline one days room clean in exchange for a couple of free drinks, that was a nice idea and encoraged reuse of towels etc All in all great stay"

Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our room overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, and waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and a view of the hills was pure magic. It felt like a peaceful, luxurious escape wrapped in nature. The Room: Wow – our room was massive! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for real comfort. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches made a big difference. Honestly one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. "Lovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again. "
