"Booked last minute to take the children to Alton Towers and the cottage was perfect 5 minutes to the park and Everything you need for your stay towels and bedding provided and central heating and well equipped kitchen with everything you need Definitely stay again if we re visit the area"

"For the money this is a really good apartment. Don’t expect a reply from the owner though, we requested replenishment of toilet roll but got nothing back. One roll for a four night stay! The communal kitchen is useful but a real pain for us as it was right next to the entry to our room……Comings and goings all the while. Security needs improvement too. There’s a sign on the main entrance door to ‘Keep it Closed” other guests just left it open … anyone can then enter the building. Room...

"We had a wonderful stay at Curlew Cottage. The location is great with fantastic views over the dales, although the weather was against us a bit. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed for self catering was provided. The only thing we would have liked was a mattress topper as my wife and I found the bed a little firm, but that is personal preference. "The staff at this hotel were exceptional. After trying to get a taxi without success and having an injured leg, the front desk staff arranged for one of the other members of the team to drive us to the train station. They went above and beyond and it was really appreciated."
