Wonderful homely happy place to stay with dogs. Can’t fault it. Loved the touch at breakfast where our pet dog got her own sausage. Comfortable bed and great shower. Couldn’t fault the room and food was great. Had dinner first night and breakfast 2 mornings.

Perfect location for visitors to Alnwick
This hotel is in an excellent location for walking to Alnwick Castle and the lovely town. Our room was spotless, comfortable and spacious. The staff are very friendly and made us feel very welcome, from check-in, to the bar and the restaurant. The food was excellent and we had a lovely evening meal and a substantial breakfast the next morning. Definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay in Alnwick.

The room had everything needed for the stay, food surpassed expectations but the best element of the stay was the service. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and gave the impression that nothing was too much effort. They were all amazing!

Enjoyable stay
Nice spacious room and very clean. There was traffic noise but it didn’t worry us. We ate on the patio area 2 nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. They did seem a bit understaffed and tables weren’t cleared for a while and the patio floor needed sweeping but this didn’t spoil our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
