"A conservative family oriented resort. I reserved a luxury suite beach section but there is no view to the beach I was deceived by this. Once I bypass my ocean view everything was fantastic! All inclusive including room service in the luxury section. This was our first time getting “all inclusive” the meals at the specialty restaurants were delicious. You have to make a reservation to all once you arrived otherwise you will not enjoy them. The common areas are clean and the staff very friendly. Elmer did an excellent job trying to accommodate our requests and answering all questions. El Canto del Sol has events every night, good shows and they even have a church here! Daily mass and a place to pray. Sheraton was sold out and El Canto came out as a suggestion by Expedia.. didn’t disappoint. Price range was in line with what we used to pay at the Sheraton or Westin. Besides the view, El Canto is a nice choice because you get unlimited drinks and meals. Be prepared with cash for taxis and tips. Enjoy Puerto Vallarta! "

"The resort had nice pools and beach area. There were plenty of bars on the resort as well. The resort was very loud after midnight, had to call security twice for people blasting music and screaming in their room and out on the balcony, after midnight. Also our room on the 15th had an adjoining room door that leaked light from the adjacent room so as long as their lights were on until 3am we had light leaking into our room. Was not a very restful vacation as I did not sleep well."

"The rooms and common areas are beautiful. I love that you have a "party" pool but also quiet places. I called the smallest pool my serenity pool :) The food was great, and the daytime land aerobics and water aerobics were wonderful. The evening entertainment was excellent, including the piano player in the lounge. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. One complaint I have was that the mixed drinks seemed to use a base made with artificial sweeteners rather than real sugar, which made them taste bad to me. That's okay, the beer and wine were good, and I didn't come there to drink, unlike some people :) It was also a little disappointing that some of the parties were off-site, requiring one to take a shuttle. I didn't go because I just wanted to stay on the property because I'm sooooo tired from my job. Maybe the problem is my job :) Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your staff is so friendly, and the dance/aerobics teachers so competent, and the entertainers so talented. I'm definitely hoping to come back. I speak Spanish and am trying to improve it. I was so happy that when I initiated conversations with your staff in Spanish, they were happy to speak Spanish to me. I LOVED this. Perhaps speaking Spanish was the best part of my trip. "
