"The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the shops which mainly open late mornings on Sunday and Mondays. The room and bed were very comfortable with a contemporary feel and a mini fridge which was empty so we stocked with our own drinks. The room was quiet and the corridors softly lit with a relaxed atmosphere and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in the hotel and the staff we very helpful."

"We have one recommendation and that is to have the windows in the room open maybe not completely but enough to air the room but apart from that our stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful check in was so easy with the self check, rooms clean and the location was great with everything you need within a15 minute walk. Definitely recommend anyone to stay and will stay again if visiting Zaandam"

"This was my second time staying at the Boutiquehotel Staats within a year and it is one of my favorite hotels of all times. Each room is unique and charming and so fun. The reception area where they provide coffee, tea and treats around the clock is such a great addition. We spent time outside in the lovely patio/garden area and loved seeing the chickens! This is my go to spot in Haarlem and it should be yours too. It's definitely a gem. I give it 5 stars!"
