"The hotel is well placed for the city centre and good value. Basic but it is a comfortable room. Very compact. I would not have wanted to be a couple or have much more luggage. Fluffy towel rating 8 out of 10 good bath towel but no hand towel."

"Great hotel in central Birmingham that is right near the train station and bullring shopping centre. Staff are friendly and polite, room service ladies did a great job, building looks nice on the outside and inside. Views are great from the window even with all the construction going on it was nice in the evening seeing the crane lights and buildings lit up. The air conditioning doesn’t seem to be functioning but my room was provided with an extremely decent portable heater that quickly heated...

"Booked one of the rooms. Incredibly good value. Nice toiletries in bathroom and bed was comfortable. £4 towel offer a good deal and great way to reduce environmental impact. Only downside was the front door opening and closing was very loud - I think the room was right above it. "
