"Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. "Check in was very easy and they were kind enough to hold my bags until my proper check in time. The first room I was given had some mold in it and a small hole in the bottom of the wall. They were again very kind and switched me to a different room that was very clean. "I can’t say enough about the 4S Explorer. 4S service and dining (mostly) on a dive boat There are other water activities for non divers but Palau is for diving ! I’ve been diving for 30 years and this was hands down the best diving I’ve ever done. I only wish I had a few more days Already planning for the return trip. Not easy to get to Palau, but honestly, that is part of the charm and the dive sites aren’t over run with tourists"

"The property claimed it was a bed and breakfast, but it was a dorm type of living. I arrived at night and all I saw were single men outside at the gazebo. I was traveling with my family for an emergency death in the family and this did not feel like a safe space for me, my family, or my belongings. I decided to go to Palaysia for $30 more than this price. Do not stay here unless you are single and leave no valuable items in your room!"

"Good basic clean hotel with modern feel and good location, 8/10. Overall hotel was centrally located in town, across from the grocery store. The lobby was decorated very cute and modern. They sold several small items here and included a free post card, which was a nice gesture. Staff was very friendly, offering to help; remembering and addressing me by my name. "This property is so beautiful, from the balcony in our room we looked out over jungle and it was covered so we could sit and watch rain showers roll over. The main restaurant seems to be permanently closed but there is a little bar with food and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the main road with many restaurants and stores.
