"Large room with 2 large european style beds. View is great with balcony.Included buffet dinner and breakfast was also good. Strange thing there was no shower in our room. You had to go to onsen for shower. In the end a nice 1 night stay.On top of a mountain so you will need car."

"lovely location. breakfast had a huge variety of choices. one small challenge was information. i asked about boat trips, went to the activity desk, who said they weren't running, who sent me back to the front desk, who gave me a bus timetable. every time I asked a question I was handed more paper. this was after a 15 minute long check in where they explained random hotel details. I then had to go to another desk to make dinner reservations - at the hotel. hoping for a bit more...

"This hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. I had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke :(. However, it was low cost and everything worked. The guy in reception was welcoming and friendly- made a particular effort to explain things, show me the free drinks in reception and hand me a tourist map. Location is walkable from centre (flat walk), but slightly further than ideal. Many dining options easily reached, but don’t expect much English spoken (have a translation app handy)."

"１フロア１室のペンシル型マンションの１室で、隣に気にすることなく滞在できたのは良いのですが、上層階までエレベーター無しなので、荷物が重かったり多かったり体力に不安がある方には少々辛いかもしれません。また、周囲は風俗街で、家族での滞在には向かないとも思いました。サービスはとても良かったです。対面での案内はなく、フロントも閉鎖中でしたが、こまめに連絡をくれました。"

"グループや家族で出かけるのに本当に素晴らしい施設ですが、他の方もご指摘の、１）タブレットでのチェックインの手続きに時間がかかる、２）エアコンの自動切り替えの点で、価格との期待値のバランスを鑑みて、星を一つ減らしました。チェックインでは、もう少し簡単な他のスマートな認証方法があるといいと思いました。エアコンの自動切り替え（夜中に勝手にオンになる、その際の音が気になって眠れなくなる）については、カビ防止のための自動の温度設定がされているとご回答をいただきましたが、宿泊者の睡眠が妨げられるので、夏場滞在者がいる際には自動設定オフにしていただくと良いのではないかと進言しました。アメニティの設置なども細かい連絡を確認しながらないになる点は、ラグジュアリ体験ではないので、グループの中にまめな人が一人いると解消すると思います。立地はレンタカーでの移動が必須の場所ですが、バスルームの設備、快適なベッド、広々としたお庭と何より素晴らしい景観で、長期滞在も充実すると思います。2泊3日では少し短かったです。"

"The staff was kind and friendl. Many spoke enough English to help me out. The food was delicious. And the rooftop hot tub was a dream. The hallways and room are a little muggy at first, and the smell of wood is strong, but once I turned down the ac and spent enough time it was all fine. "

Japanese trip to visit son

"Very clean. Fresh towels every day. Although staff didn’t speak English, google translate worked well. Breakfast was fresh and very Japanese. Hot drink machine available at breakfast but water machine available 24 hours a day. Booking in easy, done by computer and it had English translation. Central for shops, trains, bars and food places. "
