"The suites at Ardamis were a perfect fit for us. We occupied two suites (two couples) and in addition to the generous space and character of the private spaces, there was a shared courtyard, shaded by a huge and gorgeous bougainvillea tree with a table and chairs perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and a snack together. A terrific spot in the heart of Monemvasia. Highly recommended. "

"Monemvasia is really an interesting, beautiful location. Be aware that this is not convenient - there's a long walk into any hotel there and lots of stairs. Liked: • Beautiful location • Nice helpful staff • Wonderful view from balcony which was nice and large • Great shower (wasn’t one of those stupid hand held) • Mattress fine • Roomy room • Updated • Great breakfast Would have been nice to have hot water/coffee in the room"

"Service from Katerina at the buffet breakfast restaurant was exceptional. She brought us tea in a tea cup each morning. She was pleasant and accommodating. Food was good. The only thing I would suggest is having a pot of coffee in the lobby for early risers."

"Situated almost immediately by the bridge to the island, AKTAION Hotel was quite comfortable, and well positioned for restaurants. My room was one of the smaller ones, but it’s balcony faced the island and the sea. I would most happily stay there again if the opportunity occurs. "

"This property within the walls of Monemvasia was beyond amazing. The character alone, proximity to the square and restaurants along with a private courtyard was beyond our expectations. Just a flight of stairs below is a swim area, so unique that you have to say you’ve done it! Be sure to direct message the property before you arrive, they will make sure to greet you and arrange a porter! The stairs are a lot so pack smart and light! We drove and got lucky with parking … but there isn’t a lot! ...
