"Our standard room was very comfortable, the family running the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms and breakfast terrace look out over the pretty and well-kept garden with flowers and palm trees, a sand and gravel beach (good for swimming and the hotel has free loungers and sun umbrellas available) and the island of Evia across the sea. It's just fine - and good value - as it is but a little updating and a upgrading of breakfast ingedients would be enough easily to deserve a 9 plus...

"Beautiful view from balcony. Affordable, but the listing was misleading. This is certainly not a 4 star hotel. The beds are as hard as a rock and the room was tiny. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. The natural hot springs nearby are beautiful and the beaches are equally amazing. The town felt deserted; many abandoned buildings and lots of trash everywhere. I'm sure this place was once a beautiful hotel, but it could really use some upgrades."

Lots of roadwork so was a bit challenging to get there which is why it's a quiet town. Closer to thermal springs and a busy little town nearby. Recommend doing the springs. "Staid Aug 22-29, 2023 with family in 2 bedroom apartment. Very friendly staff, we felt home away from home. Very clean cozy apartment fit well into our vacation needs. Breakfast was prepared by heart with variety of food in Greek style. Also, across the street 40 Platania restaurant with excellent Greek traditional food, excellent services and atmosphere.
