"I booked a fancy double room, but because of my boyfriend who doesn't like the framed bed, we changed it for superior room (3 bed places). Somewhere nearby was a child and we could hear EVERYTHING. CRYING, TALKING, WALKING. That room wasn't soundproof at all. The breakfast was usual, not tasty. But swimming pool and sauna were very good 👍. The depth of the pool is 1.3-1.5 m."

"Simple basic hotel in a mostly residential area, fine for 1 night stay, good full English breakfast included, friendly helpful staff. We had a disabled room with a huge wet room style bathroom, clearly very helpful for a guest with mobility issues. Only downside was the very small hand basin. Would stay again when in the area."

Outside grounds need maintenance looks uncared for,which is a shame because this is a wedding venue. Crickhowell is a delight and can be walked to from hotel as there is a pavement once you get to the bottom of the drive. Plenty of places to hike/walk in the area. "
