"To be honest, it was a bit disappointing. The resort is beautiful and when it opened it was probably top notch. But it isn’t being looked after to the standard it aspires to. The room wasn’t close to being clean enough for the hotel grade and the price paid. There were surface things like children’s hand prints on doors and windows but longer term issue like black mold in the shower and the high windows looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months. "Had a wonderful stay at G Hotel Gurney. Reception staff were very friendly, rooms were spotless and bed was luxurious. There were many little touches that were very well thought through. Rooms were tidied twice a day. We loved the convenience of being close to malls and eateries. "

"The hotel is satisfactory, and the breakfast is quite good with a wide variety of options. However, the in-room amenities leave much to be desired. The slippers are of poor quality, and there are no pajamas provided. Additionally, the selection of complimentary drinks is limited. The staff's English proficiency is lacking, and their service lacks a warm touch. If it weren't for the breakfast, I would choose Sunway instead."

"Plung pool on balcony and views along coastline are amazing. The size of the suite is huge. Food in restaurant was lovely. Not much to do in local area but bus shops outside, which also goes to airport and Georgetown. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. Everything from Dimsum, eggs station, cereal, fruit and Danish treats. Definitely would stay again."

Great hotel for a realx vacation at the beach

"Great hotel for a relax staycation at the beach. We had a room with a private balcony overlooking the beach. The breakfast buffet was really good, with a great variety of options. The infinity pool is a must. We didn't really go to the beach or swim in the ocean because of jellyfish. The staff was super friendly and always available to help us and answer our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and will definetely come back. "
