"The security was very rude and intimidatory. They Would not allow me into the property without my key card. I explained that my friend has the key card and went back to the room early. I was the lead guest in the booking. I had email confirmation, my ID and the card I used to pay. Hotel security still refused me entry. I had to call the reception desk to get approval access. This was 4am. Prior to this rude hiccup I enjoyed my stay. After this incident it put a dampen on the rest of the trip."

Room was really cold and thermostat either didn’t work or heating was insufficient. Covers on bed did keep me warm enough to sleep but was still cold. "A lovely hotel in an excellent location. There is ample parking at the hotel and is about a mile walk into town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which was very useful. Our room, 52, was comfortable and nice and warm. Particularly important as the temperatures dropped quite dramatically overnight. All the staff that we came across were very pleasant and accommodating."
