"Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!! The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room. 5 star for the hotel staffs"

There are 4 possible connections on two pieces of paper, which is purely theoretical. None of them work. "The first room we got was dated and not stocked with all of the dishes and silverware. The shower did not work and the TV did not have good reception. "The place was beautiful. If you love the scenic views and nature, this is definitely worth the travel time. The hotel has a boat to charter to the nearby Sepok island, which took around 30 minutes. "Although there was a typhoon during our stay the staff was very friendly and attentive. When I first entered my room I noticed the toilet water wasn't working. The receptionist had it fixed immediately while we tried the mango grill restaurant. The food was of good proportion. The plating was attractive and the food was delicious. I would definitely book again next time."

"I would first like to thank the wonderful staff at Montina, friendly, pleasant, helpful every one of them. The facilities were good, nothing fancy especially if one is used to Western standards but very comfortable, very clean, everything one would need including excellent A/C, comfy bed, very nice big, spacious shower, good lighting, nice, cold mini fridge, free drinking water and that was in a "budget room." Good restaurant with plenty of choices, ice cold beer at the open air...
