CitiClub Hotel Melbourne
3.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (1009)
"It's a "I loved it however" situation. The building is charming and old: also means the soundproofing is minimal. They have warned us about club noises before booking, but it's the extend that as an Asian it surprised me. I didn't mind because I'm hearing impaired, and I can feel the windows shaking from the club noise until around midnight. I slept well because again, I'm hearing poor so to me it's like sleeping on a train. I don't know how many others would feel this way. "

CitiClub Hotel Melbourne
ibis Budget Fawkner
3.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (1004)
"Cheap. Shopping centre across the road. Staff at desk great. Rooms are v small. I was just wanting to sleep before i caught a flight. Water from shower goers all over toilet floor due not having a screen/curtain. The walls opposite the foot of the bed exhibited stains of god knows what. Im amazed at how many hotels just dont have n eye for a detailed sense of genuine cleanliness."

"The stay was easy. It wasn’t anything flash but it was clean with a big bathroom and a queen sized bed, pillows could have been better but that’s not that different to most places. The location was super convenient right next to a convenience store and McDonalds. It was also with a 2 minute walk of Flinders Street Station and about a minute from the nearest tram on Collins Street and 2-3 minutes to Bourke Street.
