"The location is great and the reception & restaurant areas are nice. Food at the restaurant is fairly priced and good. Our deluxe seaview room was roomy and had a nice view. Comfortable except for the very worn sheets, towels and beach towels. They need more sunbeds, it's a blood sport here with all beds claimed before 6:30 am. Overall, I would recommend as a budget hotel."

"Stayed three nights at the Silver Beach Resort. Area: there are only a few hotels on the beach, so it gets very busy during the day but is quiet in the evenings once the day visitors leave. The resort itself was very quiet and peaceful in the evenings, which was lovely. Though if you're travelling to Koh Samui for the nightlife then this isn't the resort for you! Staff: were very helpful and responsive (there was a problem with the light in my room; I mentioned it to reception & it was fixed...
