The orange walls in the unit were a bit strange, but air conditioning is a huge plus and units have a washer and dryer and full kitchen as well. The AC was cold and while the shower/bathroom was outdated, there was lots of hot water and nice water pressure. Honestly an updated bathroom wouldn't fit the vibe and charm of this place anyway. "This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "
