"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and for us, it was a perfect stop to explore the area. If you are looking for full a service hotel, it's not for you but as we weren't, it's easy relaxed feel was just right. Complimetary tea/coffee/cake is in reception, you can have as many cups as possible and we enjoyed the croissants in the morning. "The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"The staff and food was all great. The location is very good except when it is a weekend with the party people circling the hotel until after midnight. I do remember when I was young so having earplugs does help. I would suggest they take the bright green light off of the phone on the wall as it lights up the whole room. Thank goodness for eyeshades 😃. "

"Apartment was clean, comfortable and fully equipped. The view of Lake Como from the balcony is exquisite. Breakfast was excellent and Rita was a great host. The croissants were the best we've ever had! The walk up and down the path to the town issues but walkable."

"We had a wonderful stay at Bellavista! It is in a great location. I would recommend getting a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Como. Spectacular!"

"My wife and I spent three nights at this hotel at the end of August 2024. We really liked this hotel. We had a room that overlooked Lake Como with a wraparound balcony. The staff was very friendly and assisted us with a variety of different request. The breakfast buffet was very good, and we were greeted by friendly faces every morning. We would both highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in the Lake Como area. "

If you are looking for full a service hotel, it's not for you but as we weren't, it's easy relaxed feel was just right. Complimetary tea/coffee/cake is in reception, you can have as many cups as possible and we enjoyed the croissants in the morning. A very nice lounge area with a pool table and a small shop to buy drinks, alcohol and other snacks is available. To eat there is a restaurant across the road and hotel residents get a discount, we enjoyed the choice there, self service style but lots to choose from. The staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble"
