"A relatively small hotel that still maintains it's heritage. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The area around the hotel has seen better days but there are plenty of options within walking distance if you are doing the tourist things. Supun Arcade Residency

3.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (142)
"We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

The Regent Grand Hotel

3.0 star property
6.8 out of 10, (3)
"Good central location in Colombo with at least two shopping centers nearby - one block away from the sea but there is no real beach there. You can still go enjoy the sunset. The room was ok for - quite large for its price, reasonably clean, but definitely required some maintenance in the bathroom. I stayed there for a day-long layover (6am to 11pm) between the flights: needed something inexpensive, central location, private bathroom and free wifi + ability to sleep for a couple of hours. It...

Metro Port City Hotel

3.0 star property
5.8 out of 10, (21)
"The people were all very friendly and the room was good and quite clean. The kitchen on the 1st floor, however, was pretty gross and could use with some attention. Nice that they have parking, although it is quite limited. There’s a couple of working lifts and a nice view from the 7th floor. Very close to Pettah Market and only about a 20 minute walk to the Dutch hospital. "

Port View City Hotel

3.5 star property
6.8 out of 10, (37)
"Firstly, no one at the reception to welcome you.. you have a board call this number...the bathroom door and glass separator were moving, worried it can drop on me. Thirdly, the wifi is not there most of the time...air-condition was also pathetic. Although hotel was empty, they made me to have a bath in the lobby washroom on the check-out day and the manager did not oblige to allow me use the washroom. Staff were soft spoken and wanted to help."
