"The reception and checking in was ok. My room was quite cold, the thermostat did not appear to do anything, but there was a wall heater. However as the power works off key card, when i left to go to dinner, the heating obviously went off. I also woke up in the wee small hours and was cold. Dinner was interesting. "A new style good quality Holiday Inn. Nothing to complain about - a pleasant functional stay. Rooms have new big TVs which is nice. Area it is in isn't so nice."

"Polite receptionist, clean ensuite room with clean towels and bedding, easy check in/check out process, room was serviced every day so I always came back to a fresh room (whoever tidied also folded up and placed my pyjamas with great care which was very sweet), convenient free parking, useful in-room facilities (mini fridge, kettle, shower, free mini toiletries, complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits)."

"Really lovely old hotel, with a wonderful history if you’re interested in spy’s and the world wars. Food and decoration is great and the luxury wash products make everything smell wonderful. Open kitchen, a breakfast that’s worth the whole stay. The roads in are difficult if you don’t usually drive single tracks so opt to go in and out towards Milton Keynes as they are slightly easier to navigate or better for expensive cars and wheels.
