"I'm vacating my apartment in mons so have been staying at a number of local hotels. Stayed in room 113 for a week. My only negative is no aircon which would be a nightmare in the summer, they do supply a big noisy fan. Perhaps B&B who are new owners will install aircon? Other than that it was an excellent stay, free coffee downstairs 24/7 and a room with a bath. We didn't bother with breakfast as plenty of shops/cafes in Mons. Very comfortable bed, i slept very well. Would recommend the B&B...

"For the price the room and facilities were great. The room was large with an adjoining bathroom which had a separate toilet. The bathroom was huge with a double sink. The art deco theme runs through the hotel and it is very beautiful in the bar restaurant area. Food must be good as it appeared to be all locals eating there. "The room for a family of 4 was adequate for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable and cleanliness was fine. Arriving on a Saturday afternoon to find the hotel was closed and we had to let ourselves in. Restaurant was also closed and the area did not have anything close by....we eventually ate at a place that was 6km away. Functional if you just want a rest stop."

"The room was a bit noisy because it was on the ground floor on the street side. The room seemed a bit old, especially the bathroom that was not so clean... However, everybody was nice and helpful."

"I stay here a few times a year. Rooms are a good size. Not luxurious but has the essentials and are clean and tidy. Town centre is 10 minute walk. Nice selection at breakfast."

"We arrived to discover the hotel was locked. We phoned using the number provided by hotels.com and a receptionist answered to say she would be with us in 10 minutes. Sure enough, she turned up but only to explain that the hotel was closed - if we really wanted to, we could have a room for the night but no dinner or breakfast could be provided. "My wife and I are usually very careful when it comes to booking a holiday but somehow this one got under the radar! We thought we had a bed not a bed settee, we thought there was a fully fitted kitchen, there wasn't, we thought we could use the lake, we couldn't as it was closed, I expressly asked twice if I could bring a kayak but had no reply, nor were we told the lake was out of action due to Algie, we also didn't know that pretty much absolutely everything else was extra, TV, Wifi, swimming,...

"Once you understand that this is a rustic classical hotel with an Old Farmhouse feel you can relax and enjoy the experience , a modern trendy place this is not. It does have a fridge and kettle in the room , the hot water in the bathroom takes an age to arrive but is fine once it does. As mentioned in other reviews the floorboards creak and it was nessesary to leave the wardrobe door ajar to prevent it creaking when someone passes the room . Its rustic and charming in its own way. "
