"It was in a convenient area for what we were there for- to stay the night and then visit the temples in the morning. While the stairs to the main road were many, they were still convenient. Of note is the view from the small parking area adjacent to the building. It was absolutely stunning and we spent a considerable amount of time simply looking out over the valley."

"Extremely noisy. The live “animation “ outdoor, family friendly entertainment went until 1:00 EVERY night. Price was extra for AC, breakfast, and mandatory fee for beach and pool. Needs to be explained better in description. This is ideal for the family vacation since it is not near any public transportation so must have a rental car to see any of Sicily, but most families stay all day, all night. Not for the travelers who want to explore the island."

"Lovely place, amazing hosts, great great breakfast. Room was very clean and tidy. Parking available for free. Pretty poil, great surroundings. There was a fire on the side of the road on the way there but apparently this is very common in Sicily so do not worry if you come accross one of these and it’s circumscribed. "

Hatten nur eine Klimaanlage direkt über dem Bett, die Platzierung war nicht gut angebracht. "There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."
