"From the moment you enter, the gorgeous scent of what's to come envelopes you. An absolutely gorgeous check-in area. It felt like walking into a museum. Beautifully curated and most importantly, the warm embrace of the people working within the establishment. Giulia, Leedia, and the other fine gentlemen, as well as the owner were present. "A great place for students or people on a budget. The staff are really friendly. The location is great - things are never really more than a 20 min walk or 10 min tram ride away. However, being right in the centre means there was a lot of noise so might not be ideal for light sleepers. The stairs to the rooms are pretty narrow and steep which could be problematic for anyone with knee problems or if your'e really stoned :)"

"The location is great and the value was very good. It is in an area where the partying goes on until late in the morning so perhaps be aware of that if you plan on going to bed early and need quiet."

"You get what you pay for, you can’t complain. 5 stars as it just a walk away from the main train station and it is right in the middle of Amsterdam city Centre. Be prepared to walk up stairs as there was no elevator for the building. Once I arrived my room was actually upgraded to a better room which was nice but at the very top floor. I’m fairly athletic so it was not much of a hassle for me."

"Had just one option of a bathroom outside of the room, but was for me only to use, thou clean got flooded within few min of shower. Staff was great and straight. She let me checked in earlier as the people left earlier from my room which was the best thing ever "

"I stayed at the Bicycle Hotel for 8 days in what I was told was their smallest room and it was really cute and cozy. The location is super, very close to the metro/trams and city center is very walkable. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Amsterdam!"

"Unfortunately due to the restaurant next door the whole room smelt of curry including our sheets. The bathroom was mouldy and felt unclean. The bed was really comfortable When we walk our room a rat was in the room next to us which freaked us out and ruined our last night "

"It is shared accommodations, and you should pack your own set of bed sheets, blanket cover, and pillow case. Probably better suited to a longer stay. A nice place to meet other travelers. Breakfast was nice. The proprietor is agreeable and welcoming."

"STAY AWAY!!! The place is a dump. There was actual poo on the floor in the restroom off the lobby. When we told them we couldn't stay because if was such a dump, they refused to refund ANY of our money even though we never stayed there. "

"We stayed at the property from October 18th to October 20th, 2024. The website stated that complimentary water would be provided, but when we checked in, we were not given any despite asking multiple times. The staff seemed careless about our request and ultimately provided only one bottle of water for our two-day stay. We had to sleep all night thirsty without drinking water, and since it was late, we could not get water from nearby shops."
