Los Naranjos Eco Archaeological Park is one of the oldest archaeological sites in Honduras, with more than 2,500 years old. Its origin dates from 800 BC. and precedes for almost 1000 years to the Archaeological site of Copan. Los Naranjos is considered one of the oldest human settlements registered in Honduras. It is an archaeological site that keeps important vestiges of the ancient Proto-Lencas and Olmec cultures.
