The Royal Castle in Warsaw is a castle residency that formerly served throughout the centuries as the official residence of the Polish monarchs. It is located in the Castle Square, at the entrance to the Warsaw Old Town. The castle as a part of Old Town is on the UNESCO.

The Castle Square is a historic square in front of the Royal Castle – the former official residence of Polish monarchs. The Square, of somewhat triangular shape, features the landmark Sigismund's Column and is surrounded by historic townhouses.

A beautiful old town square, surrounded by colourful tenement houses. There is a symbol of the city - a monument to the Warsaw Mermaid.
King Sigismund's Column (Kolumna Zygmunta) (Pass by)
Sigismund's Column originally erected in 1644, is located in Castle Square, Warsaw, Poland and is one of Warsaw's most famous landmarks. The column and statue commemorate King Sigismund III Vasa, who in 1596 had moved Poland's capital from Kraków to Warsaw.
Warsaw Mermaid (Pass by)
The Mermaid of Warsaw is a symbol of Warsaw, represented on the city's coat of arms as well as in a number of statues and other imagery.
