What you can expect

The Flamenco show at Fusionart is offered in the Benimaclet area, a lively and artistic former university area. It is a perfect setting where the Fusionart association has flourished, bringing together all kinds of creative arts, from dance and theatre to crafts and much more.

Flamenco at Fusionart is a complete work, consisting of dance, guitar and singing. The Valencian artists take the audience on a journey through the palos of flamenco, expressing their emotions and filling all hearts with feelings. The performance lasts about an hour, and leaves neither the audience new to flamenco, nor the most demanding fans indifferent.

Fusionart is a very small and intimate theatre, which allows to enjoy flamenco in a very close and cosy atmosphere. Before the show you can have a drink or a small aperitif, to complete a beautiful evening full of art.

Flamenco is an art originating in Andalusia that combines several elements such as dancing, singing and guitar playing. The result of the cultural mix of gypsies, Arabs, Christians and Jews, flamenco is, today, an art recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

The strong emotional charge that the artists put on stage during their performances and the atmosphere that is created in a tablao, make watching a live flamenco show a highly recommended experience.

The dancers perform each piece with arm movements, body contoneos and 'zapateos' according to each flamenco palo, accompanied by the melody of the guitar and the deep voice of the cantaor.
