The Centraal Museum is located in the heart of the city, with a beautiful monumental garden and café to escape the busy centre.
Collection Centraal presents more than 400 works by makers from a range of periods. The new displays follow a route that starts in the Middle Ages and ends in the present. However, each thematic gallery shows you more, combining fashion with paintings and art of the past with contemporary design. This enables you to make connections between different periods and art forms.
In Collection Centraal you will find familiar favourites such as the Red Blue Chair by Gerrit Rietveld and iconic dresses by Viktor & Rolf alongside new favourites wating to be discovered. Combining works from the collection in this way provides new insights or a sense of recognition in every gallery.
