We begin our discovery of the historic area of Lisbon at the Sé Cathedral. We continue on our way to observe the magnificent views of Lisbon from the Portas do Sol and Nossa Senhora do Monte viewpoints. We went down to discover the Gothic and Baroque styles of the Church of São Vicente, taking advantage of the moment to visit the National Pantheon. This visit ends in a typical area of the city, where we can see the traditions of the alfacinhas – Alfama. In Alfama we finished celebrating with a toast of our Portuguese Ginjinha in a chocolate cup.

During our tuk tuk tour, we will take a break at the imposing Cathedral of the See, one of Lisbon’s oldest and most iconic monuments. This magnificent cathedral, built in the 12th century, combines Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles and carries with it centuries of history. Upon arrival, our guide will share fascinating curiosities about the foundation of the See and its curiosities.
Miradouro das Portas do Sol (Pass by)
At the Miradouro das Portas do Sol, you'll have one of Lisbon's most stunning views. This stop allows you to contemplate the unique panorama over the red roofs of Alfama, the oldest area in the city, and the majestic River Tejo in the background. Here, our local guide will give you a detailed explanation about Alfama and what's around it. The guide will also highlight monuments visible from the viewpoint, such as the National Pantheon and the Church of São Vicente de Fora, explaining the significance of these landmarks in the history of Lisbon.
Miradouro da Senhora do Monte

At this stop, you will have the opportunity to visit the Miradouro da Nossa Senhora do Monte, one of the tallest and most impressive in Lisbon. Igreja de Sao Vicente de Fora (Pass by)
During the tour, we will take a walk through the imposing Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, one of the masterpieces of Manierist architecture in Lisbon. The guide will explain the historical importance of this monastery, founded in the 12th century and expanded in the 16th century, which played a central role in the history of Portugal.
Feira da Ladra (Pass by)
During the tour, we will pass through the iconic Ladra Fair, which takes place only on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It is the oldest and most traditional market in Lisbon, held in the historic area of Alfama. As we walk around the place, our guide will share curiosities about the origin of the fair, which dates back to the 13th century, and how it became a meeting point for lovers of antiques, crafts and unique articles. Learn more about the stories behind this lively street market, which is a true journey to the past of Lisbon, and where the spirit of negotiation remains alive to this day.
Panteao Nacional (Pass by)
During our tour, we will make a short stop to admire the majestic National Pantheon, one of Lisbon’s most iconic monuments. The guide will share the fascinating history of this building, which was originally a church dedicated to Saint Engracia and was transformed into a Pantheon in 1916. We will explore the architectural styles that characterise it, from the Baroque to the Neoclassical influences.
