This unique opportunity is like a treasure hunt that you will always remember. Begin the adventure with a coffee as well as an explanation of what the day involves, before setting out to explore my forest with my truffle dogs, sisters Electra & Ghianda, who will be excited that we are going hunting. Along the way I will show you wild orchids, flowers & local wildlife. If we are quiet we may see deer and black squirrels. The dogs noses are 40 times more sensitive than ours and they will be searching & sniffing all the time. When they find a truffle they will dig it out and you will be able to smell its fresh aroma - a unique experience. The hunt normally lasts about an hour, where you can participate fully. Later we will collect some fresh eggs from the chicken house and make fresh handmade tagliatella.
