Walk with us through the immensity of the imposing Torres del Paine National Park at any time of the year!
After the pick up at the lodge we head towards Torres del Paine National Park, after a 1 hour and a half walk, we will enter the park through the Porteria Laguna Amarga sector.
Already at the starting point of the hike, the guide gives us a briefing of security and delivery of the equipment “trekking poles” (crampons and torches in winter season).
The hike is a total of 21 kilometres on a mountain trail, which is divided into 3 stages. The first one is about 1 hour 30, going into the Asencio Valley until reaching the well-known Paso de los Vientos with an incredible view of the Valley where we can appreciate lakes and intense forests of lenga. We stop to hydrate and eat something in the area of the mountain refuge “Chileno”.
The second part is the easiest of all, in this we go into the lenga forest with short climbs and several planes. Once we finish the forest we focus on the last and hardest part of the trail the “Moraine” this is a very rocky sector, here it will take us about a 01:15 min to reach our goal the Base Torres viewpoint.
Already in the viewpoint the guide will explain us about the formation of these imposing towers, then we have 45 minutes to enjoy and take pictures, then we will have lunch and start the return to the starting point.
Once back in the van we return to Puerto Natales to our respective lodgings.
