At the beautiful La Condesa home of your knowledgeable chef/guide, you’ll learn about the dizzying diversity of the world of Mexican tamales before rolling up your sleeves and preparing two different versions of this iconic favourite from scratch.
Just over an hour later, you’ll set the table with beautiful, locally-made dinnerware and enjoy a classic green tamal, with its tangy tomatillo-based filling, straight from the steamer, as well as a lesser-known fresh corn tamal, whose natural sweetness you’ll complement with a smoky chipotle salsa of your own making. Delicious!
