On the way to the island, enjoy the incredible colours of the Caribbean Sea and the wild coastline of Cotubanamá National Park and the rocky shores of El Peñón.

Before landing on the island, there will be an opportunity to snorkel at Catuano, where you can explore the underwater world rich with fish and other marine life near the island’s shore.

Once we arrive at Saona Island, you are sure to fall in love with this tropical paradise, with its palm groves and white sandy beaches. Sunbathe on the beach, relax in the shade of Caribbean palms, stroll along the shore, take countless photos, enjoy massage, a Piña Colada or other cocktails at the complimentary bar—all for your pleasure. Lunch is a traditional Dominican buffet and BBQ grill + seafood and wine (available at an additional cost). After lunch, relax before continuing your adventure.

Next, we explore the National Park of the East, an area of mangrove forests where turtles are often seen. Our journey continues to Palmilla, a natural pool famously known as the home of Dominican starfish. This is the perfect spot to take some incredible photos, and our team will be there to help.

After a full day of excitement, we head back to the port Bayahibr and back to the hotel its just my advice it’s not mandatory, but one of the best ways to spend this day is in the company of Caribbean cocktails like Cuba Libre or Santo Libre.
