Bibi Khanum Mosque is a grand mosque of the 15th century, built by Amir Timur in honour of his wife. You will hear a beautiful storey of their love.
Siab Bazaar is the oldest and largest market in Samarkand. You will taste local sweets and learn how to bargain properly.
Shahi Zinda Necropolis is a colourful “city within a city”. A cousin of the Prophet Muhammad and close people of Tamerlane are buried here: his sisters, wives, architects and officials. You will learn how the necropolis was built and decipher the features of its architecture.
