The Sacred Valley is located 35 kilometres from Cusco, so called because it was the main food supplier of the Inca Empire, is located at the origins of the Urubamba River, which in the past was known as Vilcanota.
The Incas built archaeological centers along its banks.
You will visit the thousands of salt wells in Maras and then Moray, the agricultural laboratory of the Incas.
-We start the tour by picking you up from your hotel between 6:00 - 7:00 a.m.
-We will travel to Chinchero where we will have a brief guided tour, then we will continue to the experimental centre of Moray considered as the agricultural laboratory of the Incas.
-Then we will visit the thousands of salt wells in Maras located on the slopes of the mountains, we will be able to admire this beauty from a viewpoint.
-Afterwards we will take a break in Urubamba where a delicious Andean buffet lunch awaits us.
-After the break we will continue to the archaeological centre of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the most important complexes such as the Temple of the Sun.
-Our last stop will be the archaeological site of Pisac where we will visit some important archaeological groupings.
-Return to the city of Cusco, we will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas.
-Arrival time 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. approximately.
