Pickup at approximately 7:30 in the morning. We board our bus to head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas until we reach our embarkation point in Pachar. Here, we will receive the rafting equipment and a technical briefing with all the established safety protocols.
After a brief practice in the flat parts of the Vilcanota River, we will begin our adventure on the majestic sacred river of the Incas, while admiring the spectacular views of mountains and archaeological remains of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then, we will continue towards Ollantaytambo, appreciating its amazing Inca terraces along the way, while experiencing level III, II, and III rapids, ending at “El Resbaladero.”
After this spectacular river adventure, we will head to our “Picnic Lunch” spot and then visit the impressive and imposing living Inca city of Ollantaytambo (Qosqo Ayllu city), a magical and mysterious city. In this city, we will appreciate its beautiful streets and irrigation canals in the Imperial Inca style, and we will observe the majestic and imposing mountain, Apu Pincuylluna. After our visit, we will make our way to the Valley Brewery, a cosy place where we will taste the most emblematic craft beer of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
