Your Lava Falls adventure tour takes you off the beaten track into the depths of one of Iceland's largest lava tubes, known as Raufarholshellir. Throughout your tour, discover the many wonders of the underground and witness evidence of how the lava flowed through there over 5,000 years ago.

The tour goes over difficult terrain, including big rocks and boulders. It takes on average 3-4 hours to complete, relying on an experienced guide and head torches to navigate through this underground wonder. Once you reach the end of the cave and the source of the underground flow, you are rewarded with views of the amazing lava falls - a rare lava formation that can be seen in only a few places in the world.

This tour is designed for those that want adventure, and sees you travelling a total distance over 1.3 kilometres inside the lava tube to witness it's incredible colours. The tour is conducted in small groups of a maximum of 8 people, and is led by an expert caving guide.
