Find a lush wonderland on the slopes of the Andes with this full-day excursion to Mindo Cloud Forest. This vivid collection of plant and animal life gives you a chance to explore the trails, rivers, and waterfalls in one of the most biodiversed reserves in the world.

This tour starts early in the morning as you are picked up from your hotel or accommodation in central Quito and head to the northwest of the city. Admiring the landscape on the Andes Mountains we will make the first stop the visit the hummingbird Garden. A unique spot a local farm to see from 10 to 20 species of hummingbirds ( depending on the season or time of the day) and try local tropical fruits.

Then, you will reach the Mindo Protected Reserve area (1,300 metres above sea level). Located northwest of Quito, this is one of the highest biodiversity places in the world, this area is also known as the birdwatcher’s paradise. Here you can enjoy of many unique activities which include canopy, rappelling, tubing, a chocolate factory, the Hummingbird Garden, waterfall hiking, orchid garden and many more (cost of activities not included).
