Begin your 1 hr market walking tour with a coffee (or ice-cream) and explore with your hosts local and regional produce. Purchase a few ingredients and get in your host's car and drive 5 minutes to their home to begin your cooking class. Sip on a refreshing drink in your host's beautiful, modern residence with a lovely patio. Join them in the kitchen and learn to cook an authentic Mexican meal from recipes that have been passed down through generations of your host's family. During your hands-on Mexican cooking class, learn to knead, roll and make tortillas from scratch, create delicious vegetable sides and salsas, and learn techniques involved in making a refreshing ceviche or hearty soup. You will learn to cook 3-4 dishes from scratch during your cooking lesson that lasts about 1.5 hours. After cooking, sit down at the table to share the authentic meal you helped prepare with Fernanda and JP over laughter and conversation.
