Church of Sao Sebastiao e Sao Francisco de Assis

São Sebastião Church is a religious temple of the Archdiocese of Manaus. It is located on 10 de Julho Street, with its front facing the Largo de São Sebastião, in the centre of the city of Manaus. Inaugurated in 1888 and raised to the category of parish in 1912, it is one of the oldest churches in the city. It was declared a Historical Heritage Site in 1988 by the State Council for the Defence of the Historical and Artistic Heritage of Amazonas - CEDPHA.
