In the Royal Palace, currently used for state ceremonies and solemn acts, your guide will show you the main rooms. It has more than 2,500 rooms, it has Stradivarius musical instruments that are more than 300 years old, and precious embroidered tapestries at the Santa Bárbara tapestry factory in Madrid, among other wonders. We will visit the great main staircase that takes us from the entrance to the King's apartments, where in one of them the international meetings of the monarch Felipe VI with the foreign leaders who visit our country are held. Later we will discover the most private rooms of the King and Queen next to the Great Gala Dining Room prepared to accommodate 144 diners. The royal collections also include a fantastic Porcelain Room and a spectacular Royal Chapel frescoed by Corrado Giaquinto. The Throne Room will be our last stop where we can admire the wonderful fresco by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo.
Then they will head to the new Royal Collections Gallery, the most important museum project in Spain in decades. Enjoy a journey through culture in an exceptional building, through a selection of more than 650 works of enormous relevance, including paintings, sculptures, armour, tapestries, decorative arts or floats signed by masters of the stature of El Greco, Caravaggio, Velázquez, Tiepolo or Goya.
