What you can expect

Bomb down steep slopes and tackle challenging hills on this private, guided mountain biking lesson. Team up with an experienced guide and rider to figure out the basics and then hit single track trails that wind through Whistler's airy boreal forests and open, flower-filled meadows.

After getting picked up at your hotel, or meeting your guide city centre, head to the trailhead in a private vehicle. When you arrive, get fitted for a secure helmet and let your guide fine-tune your bike's seat and handlebars to fit your body type. Go over a few pointers before you hit the trail, and then follow your guide down the day's first stretch of single track.

Work on tight turns, steep drops, and leg-pumping hills as you weave through forests of cedar and Douglas fir. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including black bears and bald eagles as you work on your skills, and don't forget to ask for pointers on techniques you can work on in the future before you part ways with your guide.
