The wilderness of Bach Ma National Park makes for a day of spectacle as you're introduced to the landscapes and diverse wildlife of central Vietnam. This private outing lets you admire forests that cling to the mountainsides and go for a swim under waterfalls for a chance to immerse yourself in nature.

Your guide meets you in the morning for the ride from your hotel's lobby, with visits to the Cau Hoi lagoon and the port of Chan May as you pass by rice fields and ascend into the mountains. When you arrive at the park centre, you can get an overview of the sights before you move on to the observation post of Hai Vong Dai, which gives you a spectacular 360-degree view of the mist-shrouded slopes around you.

Next, you explore the sights along the 5 Lakes Trail, where you can enjoy a light lunch and relax in the cool waters of Lake No. 5 before you hike out to the picturesque Do Quyen waterfall, named for the flowers that at line the stream beneath the falls. A path featuring about 700 steps lets you to admire the waterfall, and the view from the top gives you a great perspective on the forest below before you begin the return trip to Hue.
