This is a unique opportunity to learn to cook gourmet French cuisine with a local Bordeaux chef Stephanie in a gorgeous chateau. Stephanie was so passionate about food and wine that she turned it into a lifestyle - she went to culinary school, worked with several chefs and now creates recipes that either pair well with or incorporate wine. She is excited to teach people about appreciating wine and pairing it with local cuisine. Your host Isabelle greets you and takes you upstairs to the chateau kitchen. During your 2-hour cooking class in a gorgeous Saint Emilion chateau, learn to cook a traditional French 2-course meal (while enjoying a glass of rosé) from seasonal southwestern French produce! Your food and wine experience also includes a 20-min tour of the chateau while your food is cooking. After your tour, return to the kitchen to plate your food. Learn to pair and enjoy the food you helped prepare with regional wines. Chef Stephanie will not eat with you but you will be joined by either Isabelle or a member of the chateau staff for your meal if you wish. You are welcome to enjoy the grounds after your meal with a cup of coffee and a walk or a game bocce ball!
