Then take the minivan and travel through the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, to reach the tree-covered Corcovado Mountain. From the summit of the peak, the majestic ivory figure of Christ the Redeemer towers above the forest below. Let yourself be awestruck by the grandeur of the statue up-close, and make your way around the pedestal to take in the 360-degree views of Rio and its surroundings.
