Start your cultural trip with a visit to the Archaeological Museum on Koryzi Square; you will see finds that date as far back as the Mycenaean Period (circa 1700 - 1100 BC) and up to the Roman times. Galatas is a coastal town in the prefecture of Attica, It is located directly opposite Poros, from which it is separated by a narrow strait. There are regular ferry routes to Poros from Galata. The route from Athens to Galata is around 160 km (expected duration approx. 2 hours and 30′) and from there ferries depart every half hour (every exactly and every half hour) all year round. The journey Galatas – Poros is 5′ and the cost is 4€ for person and car together. From Galata you can also cross to Poros with one of the boats (cost 1€/person and 5' trip duration, only for persons) which leave continuously.

Poros Town (Pass by)
Poros is the ideal destination for watersports and activities such as swimming; visit the beaches at Mikro Neorio and Megalo Neorio, as well as the one at Limanaki tis Agapis (meaning ‘The Cove of Love’).
