What you can expect

Your first stop is at the Killing Fields, which are one of a large amount of places used as a burial ground of a million people who perished during the era of the communist Khmer Rouge regime.

After that, you will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Built on the base of a high school and was used by the infamous S-21 of the Khmer Rouge regime from its powerful reign in 1975 till its collapse in 1979, Tuol Sleng was the sole museum among more than 150 execution centers in Cambodia. Coming here, you will learn of the sombre storey about the death of over 20,000 people.

Then, you will make a stop at the Royal Palace, which is a complex of buildings serving as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia and Silver Pagoda, which is situated to the south of the Royal Palace, famous for the small green crystal Buddha it holds.

You will continue to visit the Russian Market or Central Market, one of the most popular markets in Phnom Penh to hunt for souvenirs and understand more about the daily life of locals here.

You will also make a stop at the Wat Phnom, which is the highest religious structure in this city.
