We will do a tour of the “B-side” of Ouro Preto, with a different narrative and itinerary than what is presented by the travel agencies and, of course!, also passing through the main sights of the city.
Our walk will walk through the streets and emblematic points of the history of Ouro Preto, such as the church that is considered a complete masterpiece of Aleijadinho, the Chafariz do Largo do Cinema, which was an important meeting point for the enslaved population, and the hotel designed by Niemeyer.
The entire route will be filled with historical information, tips for enjoying the city, and pauses for photos and to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
The tour has an average duration of 3:30 am (considering the pauses for photos and explanations) and on the way it is unavoidable to cross a hill. Therefore, it is important to have breath and physical capacity to face climbs. But it doesn't have to be scared, because the pace of the walk is determined by you and following your limitations, okay?
For a more pleasant experience, groups over six people will be divided into two: one guided by me and the other guided by Pedro, my co-host.
