You will begin your walk with a visit to the Ducal Palace, and then head towards one of the most sumptuous works of Sicilian Baroque, the Church of Maria Santissima del Rosario.
You will then penetrate through the picturesque streets of the village, letting yourself be guided to one of the oldest and best known bakeries in the village, where you can delight in the unmistakable taste of Ricci di Mandorla, delicious almond cookies flavoured with citrus, typical of the local convent confectionery tradition.
The next stop will be the cloistered Monastery of the Holy Rosary, where you will experience the so-called “rota of the exposed”: at your knock, the cloistered nuns will turn a wooden wheel so you can buy, between the historic windows with iron grates, their typical cookies.
To conclude this experience at its best, you will taste a traditional country lunch in a beautiful estate, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape, where you will also discover the many secrets of beekeeping and delicious samples of local artisan honey.
